Men's Pelvic Embodiment Lab

  • The Journey Space 6110 oberlin Ave Glen Echo, MD United States (map)

Digital media and modern technology flood our minds with too much information, creating analysis paralysis and neuroses, in men and women alike.

Late-stage capitalism conditions our society to view our men like machines- trading sensitivity for productivity.

For far too long, our men have been disconnected from their path and rewarded for ignoring their inner wisdom in exchange for disembodied complacency.

For some men, it is too late: They have sold their souls to the same systems that enslave them. But, for others, they are waking up to the reality that true systemic change is an inside job.

Most men want to be a part of the solution, but they don’t know where to start. It begins by attuning to their ancient wisdom and learning to embody the old ways once more.

In this workshop we will focus on restoring balance between the pelvis and the heart through the use of ancient fascial release techniques combined with energy medicine and modern functional strengthening.

Your facilitators, Jed Page and Nyle MacFarlane, have over 4 decades of training in body-led healing modalities between them.

You will leave this workshop having received a powerful transmission, along with a set of practical exercises, that will help you maintain your focus and your awareness as you become the embodied man this world needs at this time.

This is a hybrid workshop, with both in-person and virtual options. Please register according to the format you wish to attend. Your live participation is required in order to receive the energy clearing. Recordings will only be made available to those who attend live, whether it be virtually or in-person.

In-person attendees are encouraged to arrive 15-20 minutes early in order to set up their space. Please see below for directions to The Journey Space.

To attend in-person, register below. All in-person attendees will receive a free myofascial release ball to use for the release techniques in class as well as hands-on guidance from the facilitators.

To register for the virtual option, click below. All virtual attendees will need to purchase a 4-5 inch air-filled ball prior to class. Virtual attendees receive all the same benefits as in-person attendees, minus hands-on facilitation.

This workshop is dedicated to two men who embody the old ways-

Luke Staengl, of Anahata Education Center – Living from the heart to create a more beautiful world.

John F. Barnes, of Welcome to Myofascial Release - John F. Barnes, PT

May we remember their teachings as we find our way back to one another
