When we take a body-led approach to our trauma recovery, we begin to see that our actions and behaviours are a manifestation of an ancient remembrance.
More often than not, our body is responding to something old, something primal, something that extends beyond this lifetime. Meanwhile, our mind attempts to operate in the present moment and responds to the demands of our current sensory environment.
When Grief floods the system, the needs of the body begin to override our mind’s adaptive responses. Unresolved Grief will create trauma feedback loops, brain fog, analysis paralysis, rigidity, and emotional dysregulation.
Grief is one of the hardest emotions to connect with, because it feels endless and all-consuming. However, when we learn to tap into its eternal well of wisdom, we find that Grief can also be one of our greatest teachers.
In this 2-hour workshop, I will teach you how to connect with Grief using the Psyche-Soma Integration Model- a framework that uses a trauma-informed approach to body-led healing.
With the PSIM lens, we will connect with your Grief in order to see/hear/feel the wisdom of this emotion and hold space for its transmutation.
By the end of this workshop, you will have a set of tools to partner with your Grief, so that you may walk alongside the pain of your past rather than run from it.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You will need a foam roller for this workshop. We will be using this tool to apply gentle and sustained pressure to specific regions of the fascial system as we integrate the content back into the mind for resolve. Please refer to Resources Page to order.
All registered participants will receive a copy of the recording for forever-use and to share with a loved-one.
